I started diving 5 years ago when I did a Discover Scuba try dive for the first time. I continued to do my PADI Open Water Diver Course, and all the way up until I became a PADI Divemaster.
Then, I found Khao Lak Scuba Adventures, a PADI 5 Star Dive Centre that gave me the unique opportunity to do my Instructor Development Course and then join their team with the Manta Queen Fleet.
Working with Khao Lak Scuba Adventures gave me an incredible experience, as I like to work in a professional environment and have the chance to learn and improve day by day.
Years of the corporate grind left me wanting more out of life, so I found myself taking a sabbatical in 2015 to become a PADI Scuba Diving Instructor with Khao Lak Scuba Adventures.
I did my PADI Divemaster Course with KSA followed by my PADI Instructor Development Course with them too. It was so much fun, I enjoyed many live-aboard trips getting valuable training.
In 2017 I became a Cruise Director on the Manta Queen 6. The AMAZING dive sites, RELAXED live-aboard lifestyle and INCREDIBLE people made it the BEST experience of my life.
This company is very professional and organised not just for someone who did their Divemaster course but for anyone who wants to experience the fabulous underwater environment. As I did my DM course I saw them work with all different levels and abilities of divers, and everyone gained memories that could never be forgotten.
Overall my 6 weeks with them was a total blast and I wouldn’t think twice about doing it all over again. I recommend this team for anyone who wants to experience the underwater world, no matter what level you are they will show you a great time !
Thien is our multi award-winning Course Director. A big advocate for environmental awareness and he loves Tequila too 😉
Damian is our Master Instructor. He runs our Divemaster courses and assists our Instructor candidates throughout the IDC.
Gary has been with KSA for 4 years, and after a couple of years as trip leader on Similans liveaboards, he’s now in charge of Training and HR.
